About Company
Universeofhorror is a horror film company: Russian horror, Slavic horror and mystery. We make films in which fear is born not from foreign legends, but from myths familiar since childhood: leshy, rusalki, domovoi, kikimory and mary. The myths of Ancient Rus come alive on our screens.
The film company was founded in 2019 by Alexander Makaroverse as a space for national horror. Today Universeofhorror is an active participant in film festivals around the world — with dozens of awards and industry invitations behind it.
Directions

Turnkey Horror Production
A full cycle — from idea and script to editing and release. We write the script, choose locations, shoot and edit a film of any format.
- Short film — festival horror of 3–15 minutes in 2–5 months.

Projects
- "Baiki na Rusi" — a cinematic universe within Slavic mythology: films, stories and articles about ancient legends.
- "Scary Tales by Makaroverse" — a series of short horror films with unexpected twists.
- "Kikimora" — the script was sold to a Hollywood studio in 2024; work continues on new horror scripts.
